What does Mushroom Coffee taste like?
For starters, it doesn’t taste like mushrooms at all!
Since it has a coffee base, it has a delicate coffee flavour. The mushroom extracts add a slight maltyness and a smooth texture.
It has a very pleasant flavour profile that you’re sure to enjoy.
Does mushroom coffee contain caffeine?
Yes, we use a ground (caffeinated coffee) but because half of the mixture is made from mushroom extracts, it only has half the caffeine as a regular cup.
Can I drink mushroom coffee every day?
Yes, the dosing of the mushroom extracts is based on having just one cup per day.
Does it work with different brewing methods (plunger, filter, espresso)?
The coffee is a plunger (french press) grind, so can also be used with filters or stove top methods.
If you would like to use in an espresso machine, we recommend adding an additional half serve of espresso grind coffee to the mix.
How much mushroom coffee should I use per cup?
We recommend a dessert spoon of coffee, for a single serve.
