Our award-winning risotto is a healthy, ultra-low-processed meal made with quality ingredients you won’t find in a supermarket. Simple to make, just add water.

This risotto features Oyster Mushrooms grown on our permaculture farm in Ohau, and Black Garlic we make ourselves. These culinary stars work together to create an incredible aroma, taste, and creamy texture. The Black Garlic adds a stunning dark colour and an incredible Umami yet sweet flavour that perfectly complements the Oyster Mushrooms.

Everything you need comes in the pack, but feel free to embellish it with additional fresh mushrooms. We recommend adding butter & Parmesan (or butter & Angel Food Parmesan) as you finish it, to add a more delectable & creamy texture.

Oyster Mushroom Risotto with Black Garlic

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water (1 litre).
  2. In a large fry pan heat 2Tbs oil.
  3.  Empty the contents of the packet into the pan & stir for 1 min.
  4. Add one cup of water & stir over a medium heat until absorbed.
  5. Repeat the above step until rice is cooked (approx 45 minutes).
  6. Stir through 20g grated parmesan cheese & 2 Tbs butter (optional).
  7. Cover with lid turn off heat & rest for 10min. Serve.

  • Black Garlic (dried and powdered)
  • Dried Italian herbs (Contains capsicum)
  • Onion Powder
  • Salt & Pepper
