This is an ‘inside’ grow, so a bit like a tropical house plant. While it’s incubating (which is most of the time), it just needs to be is a spot that is not to dry, and at a temperature that you would find comfortable.
When it’s fruiting (which only takes 4-5days) it needs a bit more care. It will be needing higher humidity and fresh air. The best room in the house would be a bathroom. If you are short of space, you could pop it on a stool in the shower stall after you have used it.
Many people have been successful growing it on a kitchen bench, in glasshouse, sheds, and garages.   It really just depends on your environment and meeting an eye on it to see if it responds well or not.
